Where is my data stored?

Exclusively locally in your browser (IndexedDB) – on your device, not on a server. Nobody but you can see your projects.

Do I need an account?

No. Just open it and get started – no registration, no login, no email address.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

Your boards will be gone too, because they live in your browser storage. That is why you should create backups regularly via "Save backup" – the tool reminds you automatically.

Can I transfer my boards to another computer?

Yes: save a backup on one machine, take the file to the other one and import it there. Attachments and cover images are included in the backup.

Is the tool really free?

Yes, completely – no premium tiers, limits or ads. Like all Creator Tools on ende.app.

Are there limits on projects or attachments?

There are no artificial limits. The only boundary is the storage your browser provides – a status bar in the tool always shows you how much is used. Individual files can be up to 25 MB.

Can I share boards with others or work on them together?

Yes! Save a backup and simply pass the file on (e.g. via email or messenger). The other person imports it and has the complete project including attachments. To collaborate, send the file back and forth – there is deliberately no live sync, because your data stays entirely on your devices.
