Absolutely. The app automatically detects available hardware encoders and falls back to high-quality software encoding if no GPU is found.

Can I record a single window instead of the full screen?

Yes. The source picker lists all monitors and individual windows with thumbnail previews so you can select exactly what to record.

No. The Screen Recorder works fully offline. No data is sent anywhere.

Does it also work on macOS or Linux?

Currently the downloadable builds are optimized for Windows. The underlying technology (Electron) supports macOS and Linux — builds for those platforms may follow later.
