Is the Screen Recorder really free?
Yes — completely free with no limitations, no watermarks and no account required.
Does it work without a GPU?
Absolutely. The app automatically detects available hardware encoders and falls back to high-quality software encoding if no GPU is found.
Which output formats are supported?
You can export as MP4, WebM or MOV. MP4 includes fast-start for instant web streaming. Quality ranges from Low to Ultra.
Can I record a single window instead of the full screen?
Yes. The source picker lists all monitors and individual windows with thumbnail previews so you can select exactly what to record.
Does the app need an internet connection?
No. The Screen Recorder works fully offline. No data is sent anywhere.
Does it also work on macOS or Linux?
Currently the downloadable builds are optimized for Windows. Builds for other platforms are planned.
