The topic of translations: This website is currently available in 20 languages, and – I have to be honest – this has always been a headache for me. The costs of the various automatic translations were sometimes higher than the server costs. However, just two days ago, the new KI model TranslateGemma from Google was released, and I finally had to test it. So, I set up a new Docker container and, instead of using Gemini and OpenAI, I made my own server do the work. As you can see, it's running smoothly, and I think the translations are okay. I can really only evaluate the English version – but even if it's not 100% perfect, it's enough for this website.

Here it is: My new digital living room! 🚀 I've been putting it off for a long time (the classic!), but now it's finally here: The completely new version of ende.app. Everything has been completely re-programmed to make the page faster, more stylish, and above all, easier for you. The highlights? Player Upgrade: Finally, you can "skip" songs (drag function). No more waiting list: The annoying waiting list is a thing of the past. Registration is now lightning fast. Radio & Playlists: Completely revamped and now better connected. Guestbook 2.0: Comments now land directly with the appropriate song. Dark Mode: Because we all know that code (and music) looks better in the dark. 😉 This new news section is also here.
